Whether you've been dreaming about it your whole life, or you started with a blank canvas after the word "yes", there's a lot of envisioning you'll have to do to make your wedding happen.  At Studio Soprano, I like to help my clients with their vision for the invitations, to help take one big thing off their plate. All we need to start with is an idea. What colors you like, what kind of place you're getting married in, whether or not you want to incorporate hobbies or pets. A simple idea can go a long way, and I'm here to help you establish it

It all starts with an idea

My primary goal when working with any couple on their wedding stationery is to make sure everything is tailored to their personalities, and their big day. We'll kick off the process with a "get to know you" call where we can discuss any wants, wishes, details from your wedding and of course... your love story.

Following our kickoff, my couples receive a mood board with rough sketches for their unique design. From there I use feedback to transform the sketches into final drafts of your paper goods.

Once we have sign off on all details, production will begin and it usually takes 4-6 weeks depending on the level of detail.

Standard timelines:
  • 5-6 months for Invitation Suite design + production
  • 3-4 months for Save the Date design + production

Investment:
On average my clients are spending $2800-$3500 depending on the level of detail, paper selection and print method preference.

Minimums:
  • I require at least 1 card to have a letterpress element, which is typically the invitation.
  • Lowest quantity accommodated is 25

Ready to book?

Yes, of course! Gordy and I would be honored to letterpress your digital creation. Please reach out to hello@studiosoprano.com, and provide as much detail as possible for your order. If you're a designer and would like to apply for a wholesale discount, please indicate that in the email!

I designed my own wedding invitations (or I'm a designer), can you print them?

Absolutely! If you're local to Torrance, CA (just east of Redondo Beach), I would be happy to meet up with you at a local coffee shop and go over ALL the paper and print options in person. It gives us a great opportunity to brainstorm together and some of the best projects I've done started with an in-person meeting! Please email hello@studiosoprano.com to inquire.

Do you take in-person meetings?

All of my booked clients will receive a box of samples so they can review print method and paper choices. These boxes are available for purchase upon request should you like to see options before booking.

Can I see samples of your work?

Only the best!! My house stock for letterpress (kind of like how restaurants have a house wine!) is a paper called Cranes Lettra. It's a luxurious cotton fiber paper that comes in 2 colors (bright white, warm white) and 2 weights (110# and a very luxe, double thick 220#). I can also source a wide variety of colored card stocks, as well as my personal favorite choice... handmade paper! Nothing has a fluffier impression than handmade cotton paper! You can't beat it!!

What kind of paper do you print on?

Yes!! While I do require that at least 1 item in your suite be letterpressed, we can digitally print the other items to save you some cashola! An order of (100) suites with a letterpressed invite and a digitally printed RSVP will be around $1800. Inquire about semi-custom options if your budget is lower than $1800.

My budget is under $2000, can I still book?

Sooner is ALWAYS better. I allow clients to book a spot in my calendar up to 2 years in advance! However, any pricing provided is only valid for 30 days until a deposit is placed. If you'd like to work with me, don't hesitate to reach out!

When should I book with you?

To go from mood-board to printed goods, the process typically takes about 8-12 weeks months. However, if you're booking for a full invitation suite, I recommend we start 4-6 months from your mail date to cover our bases. Wondering when to mail your invitations? A good rule of thumb is 6-8 weeks before the big day (12 if you're doing a destination ceremony).

How long does the process take?

KATIE + BEN

Studio Soprano made an incredible suite for our recent wedding! The suite included beautiful invitations, information cards, envelopes (embossed with the outline of the mountain on which we got married!), and RSVP cards! We loved our invitations so much that we ordered our day-of programs as well. Jillian was so collaborative and communicative with the design and her talent as an artist really showed. Our family and friends all complemented us on the gorgeous paper, and I am so glad that we made it a priority to work with Studio Soprano for our wedding! I would absolutely recommend Jillian to anyone planning a wedding or event.
